Roads
Roads to the 3 main areas of Palawan – El Nido, Sabang (Underground river) and Port Barton has already been done. The trip can be easily on a any types of car. Along the way there are gas stations, tire service, roadside cafe. If you are going to South of Palawan in the low season, when some rains, we recommend choosing a car with large wheels, or high ground clearance, pick-up or SUV.
Rental
Rate is based on daily rental. Minimum rental period for Puerto Princesa use – 3 days (150 km/day). For travel to El Nido or Port Barton minimum is 4 days rental. Drop off or deliver car to El Nido, Sabang, Port Barton, San Visente, Roxas – there is additional fee 7000 pesos. Office hours 6 AM – 8 PM! For self drive car required an international driver’s license (in practice, you can do without it). We do not provide drivers service. If you need a car upon arrival in airport of Puerto Princesa or hotel, fill up the number and date of your flight, when you pay.
What insurance included
Compulsory Third-Party Liability Insurance. Having Third-Party car insurance will provide protection to the insured individual from certain liabilities and will cover up to 100000 PHP = 1730 USD for the death, bodily injury, and medical expenses of third-party victims due to an accident involving the insured car. This mandatory third party insurance covers the death or bodily injury done to a third party person. Take note that this does not cover the injury or death of the person holding the insurance policy, the theft or damage to his/her car, or any property damage to the third party.
